I asked Scardina to replace a garbage disposal in my renatl house in Hanover. They quoted me a price of $69 trip fee + $60/half hour + parts. The price seemed a bit high but I didn't have time to shop around so I agreed and asked them to do the work.\r

They got to the house and called me with a new price saying that garbage disposals are a flat fee of $495. I argued saying they quoted me a different price structure before. I declined the work but they charged my credit card $129 anyways even though they did nothing. I found another plumber who did the work for $200 including parts.\r

I am still fighting to get the $129 back. They lied to Discover saying ""[customer] was advised of all charges"". This is clearly not the case because I asked for a garbage disposal and was not quoted the price they charge for a garbage disposal.\r

If you do decide to use Scardina, I recommend you get everything in writing or record the phone call prior to agreeing to any work.
