As a returning student to Blue Dragon, I cannot speak more favorably about this dojung or Grandmaster Kim. I was there in the '80's and it turns out I am only one of many young students who left for college only to return to Grandmaster Kim’s class as an adult after a long period away. Blue Dragon has been a Baltimore martial arts establishment for over 40 years! Because of my time there, I have lost weight, earned friends, overcome my fear of public speaking, and gained a lot of confidence. The instructors are great! They keep it physically challenging but they also teach a useful skill. Those that aren’t career martial artists are professionals in their career fields. They’re great with the kids; very patient and positive. And they keep it safe and respectful; it's not uncommon to have more than one adult in the kids classes. Everyone there is really cool - instructors, students and parents. Blue Dragon is an outstanding martial arts community; every child – and adult – should have this opportunity. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to re-join after college. Check it out!
