After several months of my husband telling me to take Sifu Jonathan Petree's self defense class, I was able to get to one. What he teaches there is invaluable.
About a month after taking the class, I was coming out of the Avenues Mall parking garage in Jacksonville, Florida, at about 11am on a weekday. When I was almost to my car, a man grabbed my right wrist, spun me around and grabbed my other wrist and started pulling me toward a truck. Because of the self defense training I went through I was able to get away and hit him in a way that caused him to stumble and run off. If I had not taken the self defense class that Sifu Petree teaches at Atlantic Warriors, I am not sure I would be here today. My attacker grabbed the wrist that I was holding my keys in, so even if I had pepper spray I would not have been able to get it out in time. The few hours of training that Sifu Jonathan Petree offers may have possibly saved my life.
