Review content:
Although located on the less populated looking side of downtown Raleigh, ""Hpie"" serves up some very tasty food. I agree that the portion is really quite good for small plates. The staffs that worked there was friendly and attentive as well (we did dine early for a Friday evening, around 7:30-9:00). The decore of the place is OK, and lacked a bit in charm (we sat facing the kitchen, not the mostly romantic place), but I will go back for the food anytime. The Reisling I had with my dinner was too sweet, but it's only a personal preference, really.
