Businiess name:  John Casablanca's Modeling

Review content:
Okay a year ago, I went to their casting call to be apart of JC. When I passed I was so happy, but then when I was signing a contract with my mother, there was a catch. Money ($2500 - paid in full). I have done research for other legigment agencies and found that we were once again played by these people (JC and Barbizon). I also passed the Avanti audition, and looked up reviews and found there is another oh great FEE! Seriously, these places have built up my confidence better than anything, but in the classes, I barely learned anything about acting. Stating that acting and modeling go hand in hand, but honestly, there are actors making good money being extras in LA. However, they are very nice people, but honestly to say I did talent scouting and mannequin modeling, and got a little bit of side money, but nothing huge. Yes, John Casablanca found Elite Modeling, but the thing is, we aren't getting the huge jobs like we should. Yes extra work is good for a resume, but in Hollywood or in acting in general, do you want to become known as an extra actor? Casting directors frown upon anyone ONLY doing EXTRA work. I found all my extra work on my own. Honestly, please sign up for sites like imdb pro or backstage pass because places like this want money and then you get classes, I have also found that you will get laughed at for being represented by them, but again, ITS WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT. I have also found some awesome people (friends) in these classes, but again. When I paid in full, I am getting my money's worth with unlimited photoshoots (other ones cost a ton of money). Personally, I think that actors or models should start around 13 because little kids in the entertainment industry have so much paper work, warning parents here. And if you are looking for classes on acting, take some theater classes or look in wilmington, that city is the best for filming. They are acredited by BBC, but the thing is real agencies want 10% and thats it, this place with Model and Talent Management want 20%. A real agency will not make you take their classes and require fees upfront. But whatever. I mean I am determined to make it as an actor but you need to be aware of certain things in the entertainment industry. Best place for actors is atlanta, miami, LA, NYC, or Quebec. Hope I helped!
