I came here last Friday based on a friend's recommendation. I remember when this place was a mexican restaurant....time flies.\r

The atmosphere was nice. They try to make it a romantic spot in the main room, but have a cool bar area and other adjoining rooms with music. Overall I thought it worked.\r

The food was a pleasant surprise. I had a nice steak dinner, which I found very good. The dishes come out looking very nice, and the quality and flavor are just as good. The drinks were so so, not strong enough and a little small in portion size.\r

After dinner we hung out at the bar and met some pretty cool people. We tried a few different drinks and found them pretty good. Again, the atmosphere was nice.\r

Overall I would say go, they do a good job. This place is a nice fit for the Uptown Whitttier area, which needs more places like this one. You will not be disappointed.
