Review content:
When I signed up at the West Jordan location they made me sign a two-year contract. Maybe that's standard procedure but it seemed like a long contract term to me. Then they gave some 3-day guest passes. I decided to bring my husband in with me so we took our son to the daycare (which he loves) and went to the gym. Day 1 we had no problems. Day 2 there was an arrogant man with a power trip at the front desk who wanted to take my husband on the whole tour and talk him into joining. We only had 40 minutes before we had to pick up our son in day care so he said that he's not really interested in joining. The employee then took away his guest pass and said that the passes were only for people who were going to join. Needless to say, that made us both pretty angry, we didn't get to work out, my son didn't get to play at the daycare, and numerous phone calls to try and get out of my contract have been inreturned. This gym is fine unless you bring someone in who isn't for sure going to join. The way the contract is set up, even if you die your estate still has to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I suppose they're all like this but I'm still angry that I have to pay a monthly fee for someone to be rude to me.
Pros: It's big with lots of equipment
Cons: No pool, no running track, some employees are very rude
