Time Piece Jewelry, Inc. was contracted by me to repair and restore a Movado time piece for completion on or before 12/19/2011 in time for the Christmas holiday. When I returned to the store on 12/22/11 to pick-up my watch, Neville Coke (the company owner) said he had not even begun any work on my watch. At this visit, he committed to have the watch completed before Dec. 25, in time for Christmas. After some back and forth phone calls, I learned late on Dec. 24th the watch would not be ready for Christmas afterall.
I was told that a special crystal was required that could only be acquired in Miami. A few days later I was told by Neville that he broke the replacement crystal and had to get a second replacement. The stories and excuses continued and needless to say, I was unable to give my watch to a family member for Christmas. The watch was finally completed sometime in early to mid-January, well past the required pre-Christmas deadline promised by Time Piece Jewelry.
When picking-up the watch I inquired about a reduction in the $90.00 charge for the service. Neville Coke accused me of trying to take advantage of him and refused to negotiate in good faith. Mr. Coke became angry and insisted I pay him the full amount or he would not release the watch back to me. My only recourse was to pay the full amount of $90.00.
Mr. Neville and Time Piece Jewelry, Inc. are not honorable or reputable members of the Boynton Beach business community. Instead of seeking resolution and compromise for a situation created by his company, Mr. Neville accused me of trying to give him a hard time and taking advantage of his company.
I encourage everyone reading this review to avoid patronizing this jeweler. Time Piece Jewelry does not deserve your business.
