Review content:
My wife and I have tried several different Mexican restaurants in the Park Slope area, as well as in other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
A friend introduced us to this place, which is a bit hard to find, as it’s on President Street, between 5th and 4th Avenues, not on the main restaurant thoroughfare in 5th Ave.
But what a great find! First, the decor is very unusual and interesting, and the proprietor is a friendly guy with a big smile, and usually dressed in a very unusual and interesting way. Very dapper!
But the food is what we really go there for. My favorites are the various fajitas dishes. I particularly like to order a combo fajitas dish. My wife likes the veggie quesadillas. The fajitas come sizzling on a metal skillet, and are so nicely done, they’re incomparable. That’s all I can say to describe them!
My wife loves the quesadillas.
The free nachos that are served prior to the meal are delicious too. They come warmed up, accompanied by a tasty salsa.
I’ve taken a few friends to this place, and they all loved it. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you like Mexican food, and want to try the best.
