Review content:
We visited Montana Jacks (MJ's) on a Friday evening at about 6:30, and the wait for a table was only about five minutes. \r
\r
However, once seated it was obvious that either the place was seriously understaffed or our waitress was not the strongest, because we waited 10 minutes to have our drink orders taken. \r
\r
Drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time, & our dinner orders were taken, but between then & the dinner actually arriving (15 mins) we never saw our server again. We visited the salad bar ; adequate, nothing special except the chili (actually pretty good); however, we finished our drinks with the salads & then we were out of luck; no refills, no water, just sitting there watching two middle-aged idiots play snap the napkins at the adjacent booths. \r
\r
This juvenile behavior continued throughout the visit. One bozo would jump up & snap the other table and everyone would hoot & howl, and the other table would reciprocate. There was no way to hold a conversation, & none of the staff did a thing. Were it not for the hope that our dinner would arrive any minute we?d have left, and in retrospect we should have. \r
\r
Or waitress finally did deliver dinner & a loaf of bread that certainly would have helped pass the intervening time. We asked for drink refills & water, & off she went again. Hoped we?d see her soon as the place was about 30% empty, but we had doubts as none of the empty tables had been bussed. \r
\r
The meals Salmon & a NY Strip were average, cooked correctly & tasted ok, but the presentation was totally nothing special.\r
\r
When server returned with our drinks we were nearly done with the meal, & requested water was delivered with the bill. Waitress apologized, saying she was ?Slammed?, but we didn?t care. \r

We were staying out by the airport, MJ's was close, but I do not recommend it. There are better choices for the money, that is unless you have a special interest in watching Jethro and Bubba compete in napkin snapping.
Pros: Chili was tasty
Cons: Very slow service, and no attempt to control idiotic patrons
