In April 2007, my cholesterol was 289 and my LDL was 211! My family doctor advised that she was going to put me on a cholesterol reducing medication and that I would probably be on it for the rest of my life. Hesitantly, I tried this medication for a few weeks and had a lot of pressure on my chest. I did not like the feeling.
