Review content:
This was the first time I have used an on line printer. I have done a lot of mailings over the years, but had always used local printers. Although I was certainly never going to be their biggest customer, they patiently helped me at every step and performed every task perfectly. And I had a lot of questions at every step. I ordered postcards, sent in my mailing list and had them handle the mailing.
The process went better than I could have hoped. I had looked at several printers. Ultimately, the prices were not all that different from one to another. But I wanted to use a less common layout on the back of the postcard (one that is acceptable to the Post Office, but not what most people use). The only other printer I seriously considered would not allow the flexibility to use this layout. PostCard Mania just handled it. They made sure that I understood and conformed to the Post Office regulations and did what I wanted. It is really nice when a vendor wants to do things your way rather than forcing you to conform to their preferred systems.
I want to repeat that several times I really expected them to tell me I was calling them too many times. I never heard those words, never felt an impatient tone of voice. They were always gracious and treated me like I was a big time customer paying them a lot of money.
One last thing: they have a lot of articles to read about marketing by mail. For me, some was more applicable than other parts. But I strongly recommend that everyone read them. If you find just one or two useful nuggets that are new to you, it is well worth the time. And if you have never done mailings before, they will tell all you need to know.
