Review content:
The menu selection here is a little thin, but the food and ambiance are nice. This a small family-owned restaurant in a quiet area of St Paul, however the prices do not reflect that. The few times that I have stopped in, I have been very unimpressed with the quantity of food served for the prices they charge. The falafel sandwich special is $8 and includes a half falafel sandwich, one-third of a pita (which is apparently for decoration, since it doesn't even begin to be useful in eating the hummus), and a third of a piece of baklava. The spinach and spinach and feta pies are tasty, but much too small to be worth the $2.50 price tag, since it would take 2-3 to make an entree. Try Joe's Market down Como to the West a bit if you're in the area and looking for middle-eastern food. For the same price, you will get more generous servings and a better selection of equally good or better food.
Pros: Food is tasty
Cons: Portions are small and overpriced
