Review content:
Nothing phony about this place. Set in an old, run down farmhouse, looks can be deceiving.
If you are looking for an elegant dining experience, don't come here.
On the other hand, if you are looking for straightforward, no frills, down to earth good food with a personal touch and a commitment to excellent service then this is the place for you.
I ride my motorcycle to this area several time a year and discovered this place quite by accident but now make it a point to stop in every time I am in the area. I like the burgers; they are the best quality burgers I have ever had. The fries are fresh cut, the onion rings literally melt in your mouth. The candy is all home made on the premises and is the highest quality.
It is rare any more to see a place where the emphasis is on quality of product and service and not a bunch of imagery and hype.
Pros: Excellent food and candy products
Cons: Atmosphere; rest room is kind of yucky.
