Review content:
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I ordered what I thought was going to be a very special cake for my little girls 3 year birthday. When we arrived it was not ready, we had to wait 10 min. and when we got it we couldn't believe how horrible it was! It was an awful pixelated printout they plopped on the cake, which I thought would be hand drawn from the ""master confectioner"" herself. It was so pixelated your eyes got funny when you read it. As if that isn't bad enough, there was a huge bubble in the middle from them plunking this hideous picture on there. They said it would get sucked down after a while from the moisture of the cake which never happened. We had a horrible cake with a big bubble in it that became the joke of the party. If we hadn't been in a rush to make the party time they could have kept that awful thing. For someone to make claims that they have made cakes for such prestigous people I can't believe they left this out of their shop. It became a big joke to everyone at our party and when we cut into it we found out it wasn't even the cake we wanted. It was supposed to be rainbow swirl with strawberry mousse. It was a plain yellow cake with a super thin layer of some kind of strawberry jam or preserves. Disgusting! I have pictures for anyone who wants to see this thing. The sad thing is if they had sincerely apologized for it when my husband called to say it was horrible I would have accepted it as maybe one slipping through the cracks and too many cakes too little time but the simple fact is they just didn't care. Not even a sorry was given, just an ""okay thanks"" and she hung up and that was Merry herself! If your going to take a short cut and plop a printed edible picture on a cake at least do it right Merry! Pros: They're quick with dismissing complaints and rushing orders. Cons: Pay a lot for a rushed cake that becomes a joke when you wanted something special.
