Review content:
Over a year ago I first brought my beloved dog to see Dr.Feldman because he had just been diagnosed with a terminal heart condition. The doctor seemed nice and thorough so we continued to see him every 4 months. We spent thousands of dollars on tests (which I have no problem paying for if they are necessary) and we trusted the doctor and staff with our dog's life. Then suddenly this past Monday (Labor Day) our dog went into heart failure and we rushed him to VCA since it was a holiday and after-hours. The doctors there told us that our dog may not make it thru the night so we stayed with him hoping for the best. The next morning we were so relieved that he pulled thru and were told by the VCA staff that he should see his regular doctor ASAP since they knew him best. I called LA Vet Spec and told them how our dog had almost died and was in critical condition and needed to see Dr.Feldman. They then told me that the doctor did not have any available appointments that day but that his assistant was available. Obviously completely disappointed that Dr.Feldman couldn't find the time for a life or death situation, I told them that I was going to keep my dog at VCA and not transport him but to PLEASE send his records to VCA ASAP and gave them their fax number. They assured me that they would and we waited. Pretty soon it was afternoon and still no records so I called again and asked. They assured me again. Few hours went by and still no records! Then the VCA doctor calls to ask and STILL NO RECORDS! Now it has been a day and 1/2 and the doctors at VCA have still not received the records! Not only that but neither Dr.Feldman or staff have called to check in on their critical heart patient! I am disgusted that after a year + of trusting my dog's life with this doctor and spending THOUSANDS of dollars at this place that he could not see him when he needed him most, didn't send his records in an emergency situation, and on top of it DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO PICK UP THE PHONE TO SEE HOW HE WAS!!!
This is the most horrible experience I have ever had with a vet AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!
