Review content:
As one of my other posts for the Richmond Sam's Boat mentioned, Sam's Boat used to be THE place to be at whether it was a Tuesday night or Sunday afternoon. Then they opened the one in SL and so most of the lame Sugar Land suburbia crowd (you know old white guys who talk about golf all day while showing off their vettes to 18 year old waitresses) started going to the SL location. Soon more patio bars opened and Richmond kind of died and so Sam's Boat just became another watered down patio bar with a lame cover band. \r
\r
The only reason why I went to Sam's boat last weekend was because I was meeting some Missouri City friends there and either they don't know any better or they just like being around fellow suburbanites who have lived in their parents' house all their lives but I don't see what the big deal is about this place. Sure the fake lake overlooking the interstate looks nice but it's just a bar. *yawn*. \r
Pros: Parking is plentyful unlike the Richmond location
Cons: Lame and boring suburban crowd. Come on guys, drive past the beltway now and then
