House fire in January 08, left us homeless so our insurance housing authority recommended a house listed from them. The rent listed for $1,095 on the website, but the lease listed for $1,395 plus $25.00 for the use of the refrigerator. We agreed because we didn't have any another alternative. We also had a security deposit of $1,395 plus a nonrefundable pet deposit of $350.00. After we gave our 30-day notice on August 8th, realtors started showing the house. They suggested we change the air filters after their maintenance person mention we could leave the filters up to 3 months. Light bulbs needed to be replaced in the kitchen and they were suggesting that we change the lights immediately. \r \r For anyone who wants to rent from these individuals please read over their lease agreement very carefully. We cleaned and deodorized the carpets with Elite Cleaners whom they suggest and now they want to replace the carpet in the entire house. Which costs $2,700, so they have kept our security deposit and is expecting us to pay the additional amount of $1,305.\r \r I would not suggest renting from these realtors to anyone in the Oklahoma City or Edmond area. We have contacted our housing authority insurance company recommending not to use them for future business needs. They are in the business not to repair anything in the rental houses but to have their residents pay for them.
