I loved the Red Velvet. It's the only one of the bunch I tried I actually love. The cake texture of most reminds me more of a muffin than a cake. And so many of them seem to have one flavor in the cake, and another flavor in the icing. I like my flavors to blend a little more, especially since I only like icing in moderation...it's almost always too sweet. I've only started my cupcake explorations, so I can't compare these to Sprinkles or Auntie Em's. But I grew up with homemade from scratch cupcakes...really moist cake and a dash of sweet icing, and this just didn't live up to my expectations.
Pros: Easy parking, short or no wait, colorful cupcakes
Cons: Muffin-like texture, too sweet/too much icing, flavors not mixed enough
