I recently hired Mezzaluna to cater our party celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I went over budget a little in order to select them - but I could tell from our conversations that they would create an event befitting the specialness of the occasion. It was a very small, intimate gathering but at no time did I feel unimportant to Chef John and his wonderful team. They arrived promptly and left the kitchen spotless. They coordinated with the rental company, accommodated special dietary needs, and cheerfully incorporated our theme into their dishes. The food was unsurpassed - the coconut-crusted shrimp lollypop appetizers were so heavenly that I would have been satisfied only eating those! Best of all, my loving parents were simply blown away by all the attention to detail. It was an evening full of love and happy tears that I know we will talk about for years to come.
