Businiess name:  AMLI On the Boulevard
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
AMLI on the Blvd did not live up to anything it offered prior to signing the lease. The ""luxurious"" living environment was mediocre at best and the rooftop spa was sealed off from everyone for over a year. Their ""grand"" pool was only 3-feet deep all around just enough to get your knees or waist moist (more of a kiddie pool). Their fitness room is awful (and smells) with too much equipment in a really small room. Now they changed the wall colors in the fitness room with only three machines. It gets really noisy from being by the 101 and 405 (which is nice) but I'd rather not have to turn my TV or radio up higher when I have my windows open due to loud traffic outside. Oh, if you're a fan of clean air and a dust free environment then you definitely want to avoid AMLI. You dust almost every other day and I had to clean out my air filters on a daily basis because of the proximity of the 101, 405, and the ventura-sepulveda intersections creating a terrible amount of pollution. Frankly, in my opinion, the building is nice but needs a lot of up-keep. I had so many maintenance issues that it was almost embarrassing. They never fixed my leaky bathroom exhaust which I just let go because it eventually stopped three days later. They spend so much time on the ambiance and curb appeal of the building that they put their residents on the back-burner. Many current residents are still upset that their lease is not expired. I just moved out a few days ago and many residents came up to me stating they were envious of my move out. AMLI simply does not exhibit the superior customer service they claim to have. Their ""cozy"" apartments need to have about 300 taken off their rent to match the services they actually provide. Oh, one last thing, you pay for all utilities, nothing is provided by AMLI. Their utility charge each month for trash and water keeps increasing and you also cannot put a dish anywhere so you're stuck with Time Warner only. AMLI is not worth it. Pros: Nice foliage around the building Cons: No rooftop spa, 3 machines in fitness room, unprofessional customer service, very frugal company
