I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they couldn't find the overheating problem I had with my truck. $800.00 later I now have a new themostat, waterpump, hoses & radiator. It was the radiator all along (which they had checked and pronounced good). The rest of the coolant line was replaced unnecessarily. 3 weeks later, my transmission went out while driving. Took it back to them and they put 3+ quarts in it and sent me on my way. When it failed again, took it to a friend to look at (not touch) and while we stood they talking we noticed a steady drip of transmission fluid leaking out of the coolant line to the radiator. I called Allen Ridge Auto and talked to the boss. He said, and I quote, ""It must have leaked out when we pushed it out back for the night (they'd had it a week). Bring it back and I'll make it right"". They also told me there was 15 quarts of transmission fluid in it and that 4 quarts wouldn't have hurt it. I spoke to the transmission people they sent it to and they said that there was 12 and only 4 drove the transmission. The rest was other parts of the truck. When I tried to pick it up they presented me with a bill for $2117.88. I asked, ""What part of this is making it right?"". He said he'd thought about it and it wasn't their fault and I couldn't have my truck until I paid it. After about 45 minutes of arguing we finally settled on splitting it. I was already $165.00 into a rental and needed my truck. I took it to Eagle GMC for an oil change and guess what? More bad news! They had only secured the transmission with 4 bolts. It needs 8! On top of that, they had not secured the fuel lines they had moved to put the transmission back in, to the bottom of the truck! They were swinging free! If you're a man, watch these guy's, if you're a woman, find someone else.
