Review content:
Dr. Ragsdale and group has been our vet for over a decade. I have found him and all the other vets in the practice to be caring, personable, knowledgable and upfront. Their prices are competitive and they are more than willing to teach you how to do things to help heal your horse that other vets would normally charge you another visit to come out and do. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get a return phone call (and of course our horses always seem to get sick on weekends and holidays) or over an hour and a half for the physical visit - and that's saying something as I live a good 15 minutes from any town. He has always been willing to leave me with the items I need for my ""equine medicine cabinet"", is always more than willing to answer my questions and soothe my fears over the phone. He does tell it like it is and isn't big on sugar-coating what is the inevitable - if your horse is most likely not going to make he will do what he can based on what you are willing to spend and do what he can to make the horse comfortable. I ALWAYS receive a phone call from him later in the day after a visit and the next day to check on the progress of the horse. I love all the vets I dealt with in this practice and am ALWAYS happy to see Dr. Ragsdale.
