Review content:
I've been to Life's a Beach countless times. I would agree with most of the comments that the food is either bad, they've run out of an ingredient (or the entire dish), etc. However, I was there this past week and was impressed with the new menu.\r \r The service was much better than it has ever been and the waiter not only knew the menu, but also made great suggestions.\r \r I always go to Life's a Beach for the atmosphere. Once, while my son was playing in the sand, I found a broken beer bottle in the sand. I gave it to the waitress and she started complaining to another wait staff person about ""see what happens..."". She was obviously upset about something that seemed to have happened previously.\r \r I was a bit taken back that after finding the glass in the sand, and my son running about with bare feet, that there was no apology or even a ""thank you"". \r \r Still, I do enjoy Life's a Beach and was very impressed with their new menu. I just make sure that my son now wears shoes while visiting Life's a Beach.\r \r I too hear that it is owned by the same person who own's Village Grill. Pros: Sand, Kids can play, casual, relaxing Cons: Found a broken beer bottle in the sand once
