Review content:
I love Hotel Lucia. I love Typhoon restaurant (same owner). I was really looking forward to enjoying Bo Restobar. No. Today was not my day. Management was pretentious, uninviting, and downright rude and dishonest. Tab was miscaculated, sneering looks were given to our party for ""enjoying ourselves,"" and a 20% tip was automatically added for our party of 4 -- when the menu clearly spelled out 18% gratutity added for parties of 6 or more. It doesn't matter; I would typically tip far more than 20% for drinks and dinner; but in this case, I've never felt more unappreciated as a customer as I have in a long time. \r \r Sure the food is good. Mmm. You will enjoy if you go. The drinks are good as well. The physical atmosphere? What you'd expect being in the lobby of the Hotel Lucia. Service? Slow and patience-trying.\r \r However, when it comes to treatment and graciousness? Don't go here if you aren't in a business suit or evening wear. You will simply be treated second class and sneered at. Awful awful. Absolutely gets an ""F"" on the report card for making you feel at home. If you question anything about the service, expect to be treated with disdain and suspition. Not a place to go to have a good time. Try Saucebox right down the street and enjoy yourself. Pros: In the lobby of a truly wonderful hotel. Cons: Doesn't deserve to be associated with a wonderful hotel.
