Review content:
If I could give negative stars, I would. Apparently these crooks have contracts with the big name appliance manufacturers and the large home improvement stores and we're at their mercy. They give you time windows of 5 hours and either don't show up, or show up outside of the time they quoted you. God forbid they ask you if your appliance is still under warranty and it's not. They practically hang up on you. The women who answer the phones are rude, condescending and unapologetic. They lost my warranty information I faxed them the first time I called them. Then they lost the work authorization that Whirlpool faxed them the second time they came out and my appliance was no longer under warranty, but Whirlpool agreed to pay for the parts. I called A Plus to see what it would cost. I was quoted $89 for the visit plus the price of parts. ""Just a flat labor fee of $89 and the cost of parts?"", I asked for clarification? ""Yes"", she confirmed. Whirlpool agreed to pay for parts, but I got a call from A Plus saying I owed them $149. This after I took the day off work and their repairman (they have only 1?) went home sick after I waited 2 hours already for him to get there. He showed up the next day which was a Saturday. I insisted to the woman who called to extort the money, I was categorically quoted a top cost of $89, to which the combative woman threatened to put me in collections if I didn't pay the whole amount. I will pay the money then forward to the executive offices of Whirlpool (which is who agreed to pay for the replacement parts after I made it all the way to their executive officers) a copy of the invoice as well as a report on A Plus with a strong suggestion they discontinue using them for their service calls. I think I know what the ""A"" in A Plus stands for...
