Review content:
So, friends that are reading this, beware of this place. I went to this salon yesterday and got such horrible service by my hairstylist that I couldn't comprehend what the problem was. My stylist takes calls me over to her chair (instead of approaching and saying ""hi"" like every other reputable salon in Ocean City) sits me down and asks me, in a very surly manner, what I wanted. Well, I had a picture as demonstration of what I wanted (reasonable, right?) and the first thing she tells me is that she probably wont get it exact but she would try. I think anyone would lose a bit of confidence with this statement. She proceeds to hurriedly clip me with clippers, missing bits and pieces here and there, and is quickly done. Im not sure if maybe she thought that I didn't really care about my hair because I am male, but the cut was definitely not shaping up to be a high-quality one. So she takes me over to the washbowl, never puts a towel under my neck and proceeds to wash my hair quickly and in a very half-arse kind of manner. After this, and having water dripping down my back, we go back to her chair and she starts cutting the top of my head with blunt scissors, which missed lots of bits here and there. In a matter of moments, she says, ""you're all done"" while i'm thinking, ""are you kidding me?"" Well, at this point I didn't want her to even look at my hair any longer at risk of causing even more damage. To boot, she doesn't even style my hair and sends me on my way. After this, I go to the front desk and tell the owner woman that I would like my contact info slip back because I knew that I would now be returning. The manager never asks why, funnily enough. So I wrote an email through their website and got an email in response defending her actions yet offering me a 20 dollar gift certificate (crazy, huh?) So, in a nutshell, if you go here and don't like your cut, you're gonna be s.o.l. If you're looking for a high-end cut, go to AVEDA on Asbury or ELLEVEN on the corner or West and 11th street. Thanks, all!
