**Please Please do not use this facility...** I recently took my dog into this location because she injured herself while jumping a fence. She had a deep wound in her chest, but was not bleeding too much and was alert and happy. I knew no major arteries were hit and all she needed was stitches. I took her to Sonora since it was after hours for my regular vet, and close to my home. After a long wait, the vet tech came and did an exam of the area, and then said he had to go call the doctor. This is supposed to be a 24 hr vet staffed location. After 25 min, he came back to inform me that my dog needed to stay overnight so she could be monitored, given intravenous fluids, and have a pump of some sort put in and would be stitched in the morning. I said that was crazy! All she needed was the stitches! I told him that I didn't want to leave my dog and wanted her to be stitched that night. He left to call the doc again and this time had the receptionist come back to tell me it would cost $1200. I told her that was completely outrageous and they were simply trying to take advantage of me due to the situation. I also told them it was clear there was not a vet on site, and that was the reason for them wanting to keep her overnight. This facility WILL take advantage of you when you are at your most vulnerable. I ended up taking my dog home and caring for her until Banfield opened in the morning. As for the cost, it was $450, but since I went on their Wellness Plan it was only $275, and that included a teeth cleaning.
