Walk inside this motel and be greeted by the teenage clerk standing behind bullet-proof glass. Look closely and you can see the ""unwelcome guest list"" and why the guests are not welcome (mostly street-walking, etc). The rest of the lobby offers neon lights and an overall unnerving atmosphere. Walking down the hall to your room, you can see how poorly kept this place is. The urge to get out is overwhelming. The room is worse. The carpet is sticky, the bed spread smells like urine, the sheets are itchy, the bathroom is dirty. My window was cracked in a way that made it clear someone was in a hurry to escape from it (and the cops) at one time. I wanted to leave from the moment I got there, but I stayed with my mother because it was 4AM my time (10PM east-coast time) when we got there and I was exhausted from the flights. Also, we were leaving at 5:30 in the morning to catch our AM flight. It was awful. Go to a hotel with a name you know so you know what you're getting into. Pros: Free bag of chips and water Cons: EVERYTHING else!
