Review content:
I told my daughter she could get hair extensions (16th b-day present) before we left for a 2 week vacation at the beach. Since this process was new to me, one of my conditions was to seek a reputable salon in our area. Upon finding John Andrews salon, we went in for a consult with Wendy (stylist). Wendy was very knowledgable about the process and best options for a 16 year old. After speaking with Wendy, we made the appointment. Wendy did a beautiful job, and my daughter looked like a new woman. Unfortunately, there was a mishap with the extensions (tangled after swimming in the ocean), and they didn't make it through the first two weeks. After returning from vacation, I immediately called the salon and was brought in that day to have the tangled extensions removed. Wendy removed the extensions and treated the hair, free of charge. In addition, the salon reimbursed me a portion of the overall cost of the original extension charge, which I appreciated VERY much. As disappointed as we were that the extensions didn't last, I felt that the way the salon handled the situation was impeccable. What I appreciated most was that we were never made to feel as though the extension problem was our fault, they took care of us immediately with care and professionalism, and they reimbursed me for a portion of the original service. Having gone through this experience, I would definitely recommend this salon to others, and will be booking a future appointment with Wendy (Keratin treatment this time). John Andrews is definitely a salon that cares about their reputation and keeping customers happy. They won me over and will continue to get my business.
Pros: Staff, skill, knowledge, courteous, customer service
