Review content:
Ed will provide you with honest, thorough, competent service for about half the cost of the dealership. Ed does a complete review of what could be done on your car, then tells you what you need to do now vs. what can wait for later. Ed did both major and minor work on my 2001 Odyssey and my 1995 Civic. To give you an idea of the kind of service he provides, I will tell you a few stories.\r
- My side view mirror adjustment did not work, Ed went to a junkyard to get a small part and repaired the mirror instead of buying a complete replacement assembly which was only available from the dealer for a high price. \r
- When I had a transmission problem at 105,000 miles on my van, Ed worked with the dealer and got it covered under warranty, even though Honda had only extended the warranty to 100,000 miles, this saved me $2,000, Ed did not charge me a thing even though he spent hours diagnosing the problem and arranging the repair.\r
- When I had a hard to find electrical problem in my automatic door, Ed spent many hours finding it but did not charge me, he only billed the time required to fix it.
Pros: Good work at half the cost of a dealer
