Review content:
My wife and I were recently married this past Apirl 26th. We searched up and down this fine city for the proper photographer and videographer to cover our day. I am not shy about naming names. We interviewed JoVon, Wild Rose, Fred Marcus, Lasting Impressions, etc..etc. We settled on Brett Matthews for our photography and our video. My wife and I did the google thing on ""Brett Matthews Photography, complaints"" and were actually shocked at the amount we came across. To be fair, we read through most of them (I would say atleast 10). Right after reading our tenth one, we both came to the conclusion that most of the complaints on these sites were from 2 or 3 of the same people, the same complaints, the same wedding date, etc..etc. We mentioned this to our sales person there Kimberly (or Kim or ""Special K"" as our videographer referred to her). She explained the problems with these sites and we understood. \r \r Move ahead to viewing and selecting our photographer and videographer. We did not one, not two but three engagement shoots with this studio (you don't have to settle on the first one you do with them...we found this out). We settled on a very tall photographer Noah (when I say tall, this guy was TALL) and a photojournalist nicknamed ""mad money"" Rob (apparently the staff all have these nicknames, which is nice because that is an indication that they all work together. Much like a family. Then Kimberly ""Special K"", showed us their video. The video was definitely nice but we expressed we were looking for something very different, not traditional. She then showed us some new, more recent work of their new videos (I don't know why she didn't show us these in the first place, but I understand they have to follow their pitch). We loved the pace of the video and the quality of it. We went with our videographer name Joe, referred to as ""Joe Licool"". This guy must have worked for MTV at one time or another. Loved his style and his ability to capture our day. Pros: Wonderful staff, that were more like a family Cons: alittle expensive, but it gave understanding that you get what you pay for..so this is a plus as well.
