The owner Ellie did not type of a detailed contract after we made a deposit and sat down and discussed what was to be done for my wedding. Months later she called and stated that I need to decide on my flowers which had already been done. She never had any information regarding my wedding when we met. The contract that she did give me stated the wrong reception hall and had nothing else in it which is not valid. I wound up having to find a new florist 3 weeks before my wedding after dealing with Ellie on the phone several times and getting a horrible attitude from her. She is now refusing to give me my deposit back which unfortunately I made the stupid mistake of giving her almost $1000. So now I have to go to small claims court. She is also over priced and tried to tell me that she miscalculated the costs that she agreed on originally and put in the contract. She tried to raise the price by $1500. She also never did a mock up and told me the mock up would be done after total payment and two weeks before my wedding. The other florist I went to did a mock two days after we first met with no money down. Parris Petals was a horrible experience and she closed her storefront in rosedale and when I asked where she would be doing the flower arranging she told me it was none of my business. I asked her out of the goodness of her heart to not cause me any more stress and give me my deposit back and she said no. I have had no problems with any of my other vendors.
