Review content:
If I could give it zero stars I think I would. First, the equipment is in horrible shape. Dirty windows that don't lower. dirty, torn and worn carpeting. Peeling wood. No air conditioning (it was 95(F) on the day of our tour). If you can get a back seat in the open air at least you will have some breeze. The seats are cramped for both leg room and seating room. It is clear that they are not putting part of the tour price back into equipment. \r

The operator is rude and quite a ""type A"" personality. Don't even consider being one minute late! When narrating (the few times he does), he is like an automaton... no personality.\r
\r
Unless you get a window seat, give up seeing much of what is being pointed out. Many of the sights are above the level of the coach and the interior seats get blocked views, especially when the sights are on the same side fo the street that the coach is pulled over to. You have to be looking ahead then match up what is being said with what you saw.\r
\r
There are a few interesting tidbits of information on the tour but it loses some of it's appeal since the script is all MP3 recordings and the driver interjects some 'color' only every once and awhile.
\r
I think you could do better by renting a audio tour and taking your own car. The trolley tour is just about exactly an hour with no stops. You get about 30 seconds at each of the 'historical' sites once you get to them.\r
\r
We have been on city tours in San Francisco, Juneau, Philadelphia and others along with the duck tours in Boston and Portland. All were humorous, entertaining and worth the money. Too bad this isn't the best face for the beautiful city of Boise.
Cons: Aging, porrly maintained equipement and dull recorded narration.
