THEY SOLD ME A PAIR OF ALREADY WORN, MISMATCHED SHOES (sz. 6.5 & 8.5) AND WHEN I BROUGHT THEM BACK FOR THESE REASONS THE NEXT DAY, THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. My visit to Wild Pair @ Mall of GA on 12/3/11 was a very exciting trip. I found a pair of over the knee tan boots that actually fit my legs - which I normally have a problem with. They were on clearance for 39.74, which is quite a steal for over the knee boots. I asked the clerck to bring me a size 6 1/2. She brought out a box (labeled 6.5) and I tried on the shoes. I was a bit hurried, took about 10 steps, noticed that they were a bit loose and didn't pay much attention to it. I purchased the boots and left. When I got home that evening, I tried them on with an outfit I thought they would go well with. As I was putting them on (not in a hurry this time) I noticed that they were discolored, had a small black stain, and appeared to have been worn. After I put them on I began to walk down the stairs and my foot slipped forward inside my shoe causing me to lose my balance. Luckily I caught myself on the railing. I went to take the shoes off because they were apparently too big. As I was looking at the labels inside of the shoes I noticed that one of them was a size 8 1/2 and on the other shoe it looked as though the ink had been smeared because it was not a clear 6 1/2, in fact when I examined it, the 6 looked more like an 8 1/2. I put the shoes sole to sole and they appeared to be the same size. I was greatly disappointed that these super cute shoes and I just weren't working out, so I took them back to the store 1 day later (today) and explained the former situation to the clerk. She put the shoes sole to sole just as I did when I told her about it, and even thought they appeared to be the same size, she insisted that the shoes were mismatched. She commented about how they appeared to be worn and said that she could only offer a store credit, and that she normally would only be able to exchange them, but was making a special exception. When she pointed out that they had been worn, I mentioned that that was how they were sold to me. ((BECAUSE IT REALLY WAS)) she continued to tell me that all I was going to get was a store credit. At one point I even said ""So you guys can deceptively sell me a pair of shoes that are -as you concluded- mis-matched and previously worn, and when I discover these things, you're still going to make me foot the bill for them when I return them in the same exact condition as I purchased them?"" and she said ""I can't know that you didn't wear them."" What an insult! This store does not care about customers. If you shop here I suggest that you double check everything before you buy it because if there's something wrong with it, they are just happy to have gotten damaged goods off of their shelves and your money in their pocket.
