Review content:
I purchased a 2000 4runner about a year ago, the service records on this vehicle where amazing, everything had been documented and all work was preformed by a dealership, which come to find out may not have been a good thing.
After I purchased the vehicle I continued to get my vehicle serviced though landers toyota. One afternoon I was filling up with fuel and went to check my oil to my amazement when I lifted the hood I found my transmission dip stick sticking out about 6 to 8 inches from where it was supposed to rest. Needless to say I was infuriated that landers would have done this, because as a part of the quick lube service they check the transmission fluid. I quickly call the service manager only to find them out to lunch. So I decide to go down to the dealership. Where after some debate/argument they give in to my request to have my transmission fluid changed. only to find they the lube service tech's had bent my dip stick.... and upon further inspection while my vehicle was on their rack found that they had striped some bolts holding my skid plate on. that too they agreed to fix, at a later point because the person who was going to fix it was going home... some days later my new dip stick had arrived and they had agreed to fix my skid plate. I left the truck with them and about two hours later I was on my way, figuring all my problems with landers where in my past... I was wrong, upon arriving home I looked under my vehicle to find that my skid plate problems where solved, at least my problems with the bolts. The skid plate was GONE. I quickly called the service manager and asked if they had any skid plates laying around that they didn't have vehicles for. He's told me that they had fixed it and it had left like it came in. If i wanted something done I would just need to come in so he could look at it.... Landers is the worst place to take your care. Beware if you care about your car.
Pros: Nice dealership, quick service
Cons: poor quality work at best
