Stay away from Grace H. She is the supervisor for the behavioral consulting services. Trust me. I was a practicum student some years ago and although this was one of my first experiences in the field I knew that the way she treated me and my peers was despicable. She is incompetent, passive aggressive and has no respect for others or any idea of how to be a good supportive supervisor. \r
Another peer completed her pre-doc internship there last year and she also had a horrible experience with this lady. She is the worst supervisor you will ever have. After my experience at the Hume center I have been lucky enough to have had many great supervisory experiences which have only confirmed what I thought during my practicum year, that Grace H is by far the worst supervisor. She lacks leadership, compassion and basic communication skills for starters.\r
I am currently working at Kaiser and looking back I feel that after all the hard work that we put into getting our degrees its important for us to look out for each other. So, I just wanted to share my 2 cents. \r
There are many great places in the bay area where you can receive superior training, so do not settle for this and keep looking.........\r
Cons: Do not apply for internship here!! Stay away from Grace H
