This was a new eye doctor for our family so we were unaware of the extra charges when we went to have an exam. My husband went in to get a perscription for new contacts and when he called the day before the only charges were to be our copay. As he was checking out AFTER his appointment they gave him a bill for over $200 claiming that this included his ""fitting fee."" Having had contacts for years we have NEVER paid this much for an exam. Be aware of what VIEWPOINT VISION is thinking about charging you for BEFORE the exam. Very shady business.
