Review content:
We purchased a large set furniture here in September,2011. We were convinced to do so by the salesperson who got us to agree to have them pick up a next-to-new Lazyboy sofa for consignment. They even set the price for the used piece, and was convincing that this was the best way to ""make room"" for the new furniture. We have since found out that they held an auction in November, and sold our couch without paying us for it. We were never notified of the sale, nor given any opportunity to donate it or sell it in any other manner. We went personally to the store, and the person we spoke to woud not look up our transaction in their computer system, nor would she contact a manager that could. We were promised a return phone call on Sunday, which never came. I am not done pursuing this conversion of our property and will continue to attempt to find out what happened to our proceeds. They abolished their consignment department, but I wonder how many others lost what they had there. The store looks inadequately stocked, so I would question their financial standing if attempting to make a purchase here.
