A friend bought me a gift certificate to this restaurant a couple of years ago. When I moved, the gift certificates were misplaced, so when I found them recently, I was pleased to find that there was no expiration date. I went to the restaurant (the food was decent), and when I submitted the gift certificate, was forced to wait at my table for 15 minutes while the server called the owner, and he drove to the restaurant. When the owner arrived, he went into the kitchen for another five minutes, so we asked the server when we would be able to leave. She told us we would have to speak to the owner about that, so we asked that she go get him. When the owner came back, he informed us that he was waiting for the other owner to return his call. When she did call, he again went back into the kitchen, without saying a word to us. At that point, we had been waiting for over 25 minutes, and, with no end in sight, we left. The owner ran out into the parking lot after us and accused us (in front of several people) of creating fraudulent gift certificates, because the restaurant has changed ownership in the last year, and his current gift certificates look different than the one my friend purchased. Despite the fact that I explained how old the gift certificate was, and it had a registration number, and the signature of the previous owner/manager, he insisted that it was fake. I have never been in such a ridiculous situation, and would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. The food isn't even close to being good enough to make up for the terrible service and embarrassment I experienced.
