Recently I had the opportunity to eat at the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant located near the Superstition Springs Mall. As I entered the facility, I noticed it was nicely decorated with Italian looking faux finishes on the walls and beautiful tapestry type seating. The lighting was dimmed and overall, the atmosphere was very pleasing. The employees were nicely dressed, prompt, and very friendly. My wait was brief and I was seated in about 15 minutes. I was immediately given a menu, which was quite lengthy, well organized and looked to have something for everyone. I finally decided I would try the Basil Tomato Pizza and the Caesar salad. I was expecting to be able to finish both the Pizza and salad myself, as most places seem to serve smaller portions even though the price remains on the higher side. The prices in this case were a little on the higher side so I expected the food to be of a higher quality. My order was taken in a timely manner and the waiter was back with my drink surprisingly quickly was also served some delicious hot bread, which tided me over until my meal arrived. I was a bit disappointed however in the wait time for my meal. From the point I ordered until my plate was delivered I waited nearly 45 minutes. When my meal was finally delivered, I was surprised at the size of the portions. They were quite large compared to many of the other establishments I have visited. Both the salad and the Pizza were light and mild. They were quite different than anything I have had before but I really enjoyed them. It was nice not to be tired of the flavor after the first few bites and they didn’t taste greasy or have too much garlic. The portions were large enough however that I had plenty to take home and enjoy later. I would have to say the crowning point of this meal was the Cheesecake. I ordered the Raspberry cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious. I have never tasted such outstanding cheesecake. The waiter was excellent in making sure that my water glass was attended to and was prompt with my check so I didn’t have to wait. The price was as I mentioned a little on the higher side but the portion size more than made up for that. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Cheesecake Factory and would have no problem recommending it to many of my friends. I enjoyed superb food and excellent service. It was a nice surprise from a chain restaurant.
