AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! In July of the 2010 I decided to change the folders of my house, after several interviews I chose to Floor Hut of Plano, Texas, all I can say is that IT WAS a NIGHTMARE, a work that supposedly would take 3 days, to them took more than a month. They would arrive in the morning with a team of 3 or 4 people, on the following day appeared another group of totally different workers from the previous one and thus it followed during several weeks, altogether were four different equipment crews and installers. It was a tremendous disaster because each crew was trying to fix all the errors that the previous crew did the day before. Each day, more damage would be done, and less progress. It was a mess and a nightmare. In order to mention some of the errors all I can say that aside from them having burned the carpet, over stretch it several times, the unions were visible and going in different directions, and there were unions in places that there should just be one continuance block of carpet. They were too visible, they also nailed nails in the carpet so that it was not wrinkled, with a giant rusty nail in the middle of my carpet showing. The completion was a disgust. Besides marking and soiling the walls, staining the curtains and they tore a leather sofa of mine as well. I am totally dissatisfied with the attitude of the company, by its irresponsibility and its lack of attention to the client and its very poor treatment. After the supposedly ""complete"" job, I decided to call to an inspector to see if the carpet installation job passed inspection. The inspector listed all the incorrect and damaging installation jobs that were done, and then concluded the report by saying that the work was unacceptable and that we would have to remove the entire carpet and to begin again, and that none of the job or parts could be reused or salvaged. In order to resolve this dispute, I ended up having to retain the services of a lawyer who helped me to recover some of my damages, but not all of them. In short, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER DEAL WITH FLOOR HUT if you want a painless and good installation done. Hopefully people reading this can learn from my experience and not have to go through the 4 months disaster that I went through.
