I am a 39 year old African American female and I never had a problem with acne as a teenager. It wasn’t until recently, as an adult, that I began to have a problem with cystic acne on my face. ProActive worked for a while, but over the years my facial skin needs changed and the active ingredients began to dry my skin out. I was feeling self-conscience of my skin and felt like I had to explain to everyone why my skin was breaking out with pimples at this age. Well, a friend of mine recommended Reka at Winter Park MedSpa and I haven’t regretted it since.
Reka personalized my treatment and helped me feel confident when she told me she had gone through similar, horrifying skin issues. As beautiful as her skin looked, I couldn’t believe she once had the same issues as me, so I knew I could trust what she was saying when she made a plan for me. She worked with me internally with vitamin supplements to get to the root of the problem, then she tirelessly worked on my blemishes one by one with such patience.
I’ve been seeing Reka for about 4 months now and my skin looks and feels unbelievably better!! She even knew how to help my hyperpigmentation. I now understand the importance of routine facials and what better place to get them than in a cozy, warm earth tone and relaxing environment like Winter Park MedSpa. I love the pampering treatment that I get. From Christy’s eager greeting when I walk in the door, to the calming room that I snuggle into for my treatment. What a great place to get away from the stressors of the world.
