Businiess name:  Midwest Moving & Storage

Review content:
My company used Midwest and I was very impressed with their organization and attention to detail. But when I opened all my storage bins the following Monday morning, by nice digital camera was mysteriously missing. Even worse, an entire BIN was not delivered. Upon visiting the old site I found that the missing BIN that did not make it over was piled with all the extra bins and the cheap items were still in there. The Nikon Digital Camera I have owned and used for work for a few years was of course gone. I was upset with myself for not taking the time to take the camera home, but I was in a hurry and far too trusting. At first Midwest was kind enough to work with me and have me fill out a a claims form. But then after sending it over twice, emailing twice, calling twice, I finally stopped harassing them for the $75 I was told I would received after their ""review"" of the situation. I would have preferred they were honest with me and told me I was liable for leaving a valuable in the hands of criminals, but instead they jerked me around and lied to me about processing my claim check. Even after I spent an hour making a trip to the police station to fill out a report. In conclusion, I would never deal with this company again. Pros: great movers, organized, efficient Cons: criminal workers, shady management, dishonest business practice
