Businiess name:  Table Mesa

Review content:
On a whim, my family and I thought we'd give Table Mesa a shot. We were immediately met by a host who showed us to our table, and the service, which was good, proved to be our only positive experience. After we were settled, we noticed the asian cuisine influence permeated the restaurant (we thought we were in the wrong place), down to the music piping through the restaurant. The menu was fine, and our food was OK, although there was no hint of either lime or cilantro in the lime-cilantro rice, and we were served what must have been simply steamed rice. The refried beans were from a can, and the tortilla chips were from the store. My young son ordered a kid's meal, which appeared to be OK at first glance (although it was served in a bento box, which was more humorous than anything). However, as my wife and I were speaking our little one noticed a fruit fly in the fruit; we took a closer look at his meal and the fruit was in terrible shape. Although I've never eaten in a restaurant that copied the previous cuisine right down to the music, I understand that it probably happens; however, this restaurant should give some effort to distinguish itself in some way. The final touch was paying for our lunch, it was rather expensive for 2 adults and a 2-year old child. I think for paying such a hefty price for lunch, we expect more. Our mistake, we won't be back. Pros: Service Cons: Quality of ingredients, strange ambience, value
