About May 15, 2008 I took my pressure washer in to have the pump replaced with a \r quoted cost of $220 installed. When I finally picked the pressure washer up I \r was told the charge was $332. I said that can't be right, I was quoted $220. I \r was told me they had a hard time getting my pump off and so there was extra \r labor. I asked that Jerry call me when he returned, then left.\r \r I called again the next day, and Jerry was with a customer. I again asked that \r he call me, leaving both home and mobile numbers. The next day I still had not \r heard from Jerry so I called during business hours and got the answering machine \r again requesting that Jerry call me. The next morning I called and Jerry \r answered. I explained that I was not happy with the $332, and that we had \r talked several times, and I was even in the shop and he never mentioned anything \r about additional costs. I suggested that if he would not honor his price that \r he removes his pump and put mine back on. He told me I would have to pay the \r labor to have that done, at which I told him I could not agree. After a bit \r more banter, the line went dead.\r \r Giving Jerry the benefit of the doubt that he did not hang up on me, I called \r back and the phone rang endlessly, not even an answering machine. From a \r different phone I called and Jerry answered right away. We continued to banter \r about the additional costs, ethics and good business practices, and that he had \r ample opportunity and obligation to notify me of additional charges before I \r picked the unit up. He told me he would pull his pump off since he needed it \r for another customer, but could not reinstall mine because it was in a box in \r pieces and that we could just part ways. I told him that he could either do \r that or just honor the original quote. He chose remove his pump and leave me \r with a useless engine and a pile of junk.
