Review content:
I grabbed some takeout from this place last week and was more than surprised. The food was so good, the restaurant so pleasant, and the people so nice that I'm going to post this on citysearch.\r

I love hot chicken so I found the chicken shack online. Living in NE williamson county and wanting to avoid any relatively unfavorable areas at night (ie ANY other hot chicken spot), I decided to give this place a shot. I had the hot version of a chicken breast and wing and was pleasantly surprised. The hot coating and heat weren't nearly as overpowering as their competitors; the fried chicken alone was perfect. The chicken wasn't greasy at all! I have at last found a hot chicken place of which I'm not afraid to travel and that doesn't ruin my car seats with grease! Thank you Smyrna Chicken Shack!
Pros: somewhat decent area, good food but not overpowering, clean and pleasant eat-in environment
Cons: hard to spot, Smryna, only fried items on the menu (not even a salad)
