An acquaintance recommended I try this store since I hadn't been there in a couple of years and was told it had changed alot. ""Pros"" - For starters, I was happy they were open on Sunday. When I walked in I immediately saw BIG changes for the positive; more acquariums & inventory; a more lively atmosphere; not so old and dingy looking like it used to be. ""Cons"" - The man behind the counter (who I am assuming was the owner) was VERY ""rushed"", curt & abrupt while talking to me --like a ""know it all"" who was too busy to talk to me. I was seeking advice on what (to me) was an important problem regarding the health of my fish. I was left with the feeling that medicine was ""forced"" on me He kept getting interrupting by ill-mannered, rowdy children who ""butted in"" constantly interrupting our conversation. He was very distracted. I was charged approx. $15 for ""meds"" and when I got home and opened the bag, I discovered an old, beat up, dusty box (obviously VERY OLD inventory) which had expired in 2009!!! If it had expried by a month or two, I wouldn't have been THAT po'd, but 3 years?? C'mon! I went to a ""chain"" pet store and got the same meds (laying out $$ again), but at least the replacement doesn't expire 'til 2014. I won't be going back.
