DO NOT SEND YOUR CAT TO THIS lake/Park. The swimming area is not large enough for the amount of people crammed in. There are beautiful areas to the lake, but they are roped off. You will swim in a small area of the 200+ guests warm urine and body fluid. the slides are dangerous at best. On the day we went, we paid $44 for the carload and an extra $30 for bracelets to ride the waterslides. The moment we paid the sky got grey out of no where. I asked the cashier before handing him the CA$H about rain policy. The cashier assured me the slides RARELY close in the rain. With disappointed kids in tow, I hand him the money. In the amount of time it took to get to the first slide, the sky downpoured on us. The slide closed when we got there. ALL THE SLIDES CLOSED and THE LAKE WAS CLEARED OF SWIMMERS. We went right back to the booth we just paid at and the booth was closed up solid. STEEL BARRIER PUT UP. We couldn't even see the cashier. we had to bang on the barrier. The cashier with a stack of cash in his hands sheepishly looked up and told me there were no refunds. He told me to speak to the manager. The manager who was iliterate, rude and sarcastic told me, ""I'm not Al Roker, I can't predict the weather. You came to get wet didn't you -- well you're wet -- go have fun."" That is sadly, a direct quote out of the mouth of the owner/manager.... Wow.. We waited for upwards of an hour for the weather to clear. As we took shelter under their highest water slide, we looked up to see the UNDERSIDE OF THE WATERSLIDE RUSTING AWAY AND LITERALLY FIXED WITH DUCT TAPE. We left the park and reported the park to NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs. This park is a nighmare.
