Absolute disgraceful service! First, the maids completely missed the first appointment time. They never showed up that day, so I cleaned my refrigerator and stove myself. I called Living Social as my lease was ending in a few days. That got some action, as calling Maid Easy did nothing and emails were not returned. So, fortunately that stirred the ant hil and the next day Maid Easy called saying that they would be out the next day from 2-3. So, I took off work.
These two ladies did clean the apartment as I'd requested. This was a deep-cleaning, add-on to a living social voucher. However, they caused a lot of destruction with their cavalier attitude. They were using clorox cleanup gel with paper towels. That's fine and effective, too. However, what wasn't clever was throwing the used paper towels on my carpet. The used towel from the closet burned a bleach hole in the hall carpet! To top that off these two broke the large blind in the living room.
I have emailed and called repeatedly, including photos of the damage that was done. I have heard nothing and fully expect this company to not do the right thing and reimburse me for what will surely be charges taken out of my security deposit.
I'd take them to small claims court, but we all know what that's like...
